McLean County Fair
Held in the small and charming rural fairgrounds of Underwood, the McLean County Fair is the most popular event with abundant activities and events for three days on the row. Apart from lines of vendors selling everything from freshly cooked homemade food to toys and trinkets, the livestock show featuring rabbits, poultry and horse will keep you amused. Look out for the craft and quilt show by local youths and adults. After enjoying a 5k walk or run around the fairground, enjoy the parade full of floats. Easter Egg Hunt
Visit during spring with your kids to enjoy egg hunting at Poolside Park or Underwood City Park. Kids below 3 years old can bring their egg collecting baskets. Although the outdoor festival is weather dependent, in adverse weather, the food rounds and games are held in the City Hall. Adults can build bonnets at the Big, Beautiful Bonnet Bonanza and win exciting prizes. The day concludes with the Easter Parade.
Midsummer Classic Car And Bike Show
Starting from 2011, the annual Midsummer Classics Car Show is held at third block downtown district of Underwood. With more than eighty vintage cars on display every year, any automobile lover can have the best time here. McLean County Ag Fair
A celebration of agriculture and food resources, the McLean County Ag Fair is generally held during July at the Myer Creek Park.
In the city of Garrison, this agricultural show is made successful with more than fifty commercial booths selling fresh homemade food, baked items and fresh produce from the field.
Missouri River Bluegrass Festival
The Annual Missouri River Bluegrass Festival at the Cross Ranch State Park becomes one of the most happening events with fascinating music performance by local bands, jamming sessions, camping, kid-friendly events and more. Under the sky, surrounded by cottonwood trees, this event on 3rd weekend in June is North Dakota’s biggest music festival.
McLean County 4-H Events
