East Totten Trail Campground: Located adjacent to Lake Audubon, 7 miles
north of Coleharbor on Highway 83, then 1/2 mile east and 1/2 mile south. Modern
camp sites operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Boat dock/ramp,
concessions, fireplaces, sanitary dump station, picnic tables and vault toilets.
Daily fee charged.
Downstream Campground: Located below Garrison Dam, operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers, on the shores of Missouri River. Primitive and electrical campsites. Bathhouse/showers, drinking water, picnic tables, fireplaces, flushing restrooms, vault toilets, playground, dump station and fish cleaning station. Daily fee charged.
Wolf Creek: Located 2 miles west of Coleharbor, fronts Lake Sakakawea. Boat ramp, primitive camping, rest rooms, boat dock, drinking water, fireplaces, and picnic tables. Situated on 4,600 acres, provides fishing, waterfowl, deer and upland game.
Fort Stevenson State Park: Located 3 miles south of Garrison. 120-unit campground, water and electrical hookups available, modern comfort stations with showers. Primitive sites and Rent-a-Camp also available. Off-season cabin rental. Two boat ramps, boat dock, boat fuel, boat rental, fireplaces, concessions, full service marina, ultra modern fish cleaning station, group picnic facilities, hiking/nature trails, three playgrounds, swimming beaches, fitness trail and horseshoe pits. Douglas Creek Bay: Located west of Garrison 11 miles, 5 miles south and 4 miles east. Public boat ramp access, boat dock, drinking water, fireplaces, picnic tables, restrooms and primitive camping. This area includes 1,980 acres of North Dakota State Game Management area in two units, 2 1/2 miles south and 6 miles east of Emmet. Fronts Lake Sakakawea. Provides lake access for fishing, waterfowl, deer and upland game.
Deepwater Bay: Fronts Lake Sakakawea. Boat dock, boat fuel, boat ramp, concessions, drinking water, fireplaces, picnic shelters, picnic tables and vault toilets.

Sportsmen's Centennial Park: Located five miles east, two miles south and one mile west of Garrison. A new county operated park featuring day-use picnic sites/shelters, fireplaces, boat ramps, boat dock, primitive camping, RV sites, restrooms and concessions. Steinke Bay: Located on deTrobriand Game Management Area 3 miles east and 2 miles south of Garrison. Two boat ramps, primitive camping, boat dock, boat ramp, fireplaces and vault toilets.

Morningstar Campground: Located adjacent to Government Bay Recreation Area and Boat Ramp, (701)654-7636, 29 sites, 11 electrical, fire rings, playground, kids' fishing pond, porta-potties.
Brekken-Holmes Recreation Complex: Located 1 1/2 miles north of Turtle Lake, primitive camping, concrete boat ramp, water, dump station, ball diamonds, two picnic shelters with electricity.
