Clerk of Court

The current Clerk of Court is Cathy Bailey of Underwood. She was appointed to the one-year term position on March 1, 2008 and was reappointed 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The Clerk of District Court is responsible for the following duties:

	Acts as custodian of records filed in that office;
	Serves at the direction of the District Court Judge;
	Assists in District Court trials;
	Keeps records of orders and judgments of the court;
	Issues marriage licenses and may solemnize marriages.

The Clerk of District Court staff consists of one additional employee, Mary Ann Anderson, who serves as Deputy Clerk of District Court.
